Mens Fashion Week LA

Hello my Fashionistas! Hope you all have been great and staying fashionable!
I wanted to share my recent experience with you all!
As you may or may not know, LA fashion week is in full force at the moment I
was a part of MensFashionWeekLA.
I applied to work the show through my school. I sent my resume and 
got an email to confirm an interview. 
With nerves and all I headed to LA for the interviews.
The Interview process was about 4 hours long. But you know what?
That was the MOST FUN I have had at an interview!
I met all these great people from all types of backgrounds, that was an great 
experience in itself!
I got a confirmation email saying that i was chosen to be a part of the team, 
I was ecstatic! 
Skip a few days and Monday arrives, Day 1 of MensFWLA.
I was assigned to be part of the social media/marketing team.
I was in charge to snap pictures and push them onto all social media.
Then, I was assigned to be an usher to the runway show the second half of the day and the 
second day of the show.
I had a blast, working my 1st ever industry event!
Met so many bloggers, stylists, publicists and media people!
I have to say the most exciting part of my experience was meeting the one and only 
Blake Scott!
If you don't know who he is, please check him and his girlfriends blog out!
They are only the hottest fashion bloggers out there right no!
I was too nervous to go up to him and introduce myself so I went with a friend. 
To be honest, I was shaking of nerves!
Blake is the sweetest person ever, very humble and admirable!
We took a photo together along with my friend then we let him get back to work.
It feels so surreal meeting someone you look up to so much for inspiration!
OH! did i mention he liked and commented 2 of my Instagram pictures?!
Yes, i died!

I had such a blast working the event and meeting Blake Scott.
Met some amazing and networked a bit.
I am so thankful for the opportunity and i only hope i keep growing as a person 
and in my career. Everyone should do what they love and live life.
 I know I am.

Burberry A/W 2013/14

Hello fashionistas, it has been too long! Hope everyone is enjoying their day thus far. Anyone who knows me know that I am obsessed with Burberry. Today the womanswear fashion show for autumn/winter 2013 was held at Hyde Park  in London at 4pm London time and was streamed to the rest of the world on Burberry.com Of course, I tuned in! Here are some of my notes I took during the show. I saw a lot of rubber detailing with velvet finish. Calfskin was used in many of the trench coats and skirts as well as tops. Hardware, metal detailing and metal eyelets Browns, deep reds, black in color.                                                Christopher Bailey never disappoints! What do you guys think? Hello my lovely fashionistas! Been a while? How is everyone? Enjoying the summer trends? Well, I am here to give you guys ideas on how to style and put to use the  Monochromatic Trend for Summer 2013. Thats right, black & white for the summer. Its hot in the summer, obviously. Especially in Southern California so first of all  I chose a black skater skirt belted with a leather brown belt. For the top I chose a white and black sleeveless pleat from blouse. Simple, yet stylish and tolerable for the summer heat. Next, for shoes you can go either way. If you want to make a statement with your shoes i chose some Spiked Litas by Jeffrey Campbell. If you want more comfort i chose a black studded sandal. There you have it! A trendy outfit for the hot summer days!
